New electric sports car concept for Geneva; Nissan reveals Micra 'Limited Edition'; Renault-Nissan targets cost savings; new Renault concept A new four-seat electric sports car concept from Liechtenstein-based R&D firm nanoFlowcell AG will make its world debut at the Geneva motor show in March. Named the Quant e-Sportlimousine, the 5. 25-metre concept features an electric powertrain and a new battery storage technology that the firm has named after itself.
Nissan has launched a new 'Limited Edition' variant of the Micra. Limited Edition models come with a contrasting colour roof, new side sills, a chromed exhaust tip and new badging. Inside, the car gets contrasting colour trim. The Micra Limited Edition is on sale now, priced from 12,300.
The Renault-Nissan Alliance plans to make 3. 5 billion in cost savings by 2016. The Alliance is planning to merge its respective research and development divisions as part of that plan, with development focusing on new applications for the Common Module Family platform as well as shared powertrains.
Renault will launch a new concept car at the Delhi motor show next week. The model, which Renault says embodies the brands ambitions for new markets, will be aimed directly at buyers in India.
